Mark,
I hope you had a good run home, despite the odd traffic hold up, I enjoyed the run today, even allowing for the back end 'letting go' through the middle of Petworth where there are those high stone walls either side of the road!! Not sure I can make next Saturday, but if my plans change I'll let you know.
Was trying to think of another event to put on the calendar, what about a hillclimb, whether to enter or just watch? We've got friends who live near Cheltenham, the Bugatti Owners Club hillclimb at Prescott is just down the road from them, a bit of a trek, but great vantage points all along the hill, and the opportunity to take your car up the hill for tenner at some club events http://www.prescott-hillclimb.com/events.aspx
Cheers Tony

Tony, i think its a good concept - the main reservation though is the distance. I had it in mind that later in the year I might arrange an overnighter to that part of the world, perhaps the two could be combined? that way could avoid some of the M/Ways. Let me work on an idea of two for the site this week, then we can ALL post ideas and start popping in some dates into the diary.

Aarrrgh!
Was having password probs & couldn't log on at home. I would've been there as it's only a couple of miles from my house, though I'd have been in the Ranger as the Fury's SORNed until the 1st April.

Thats a pity Tony! There's been a group of guys that pop over there from the locostsite - not a regular date, more as/when and is it dry
I'm hoping that gradually they'll join this site and post about meets there - conrodkid on here is one of the chaps. Hopefully a few folks like yourself from that part of the world will at least know about it and pop along.......
