Anyone able to offer assistance?

Postby bobg_24 » Tue Jun 03, 2014 6:08 pm

My daughter, along with two or three of her friends, have expressed a desire to arrive at their school prom night in Kit Cars.........but the problem is, there are more girls than cars at the moment. Two cars available to take two girls, would be better if there were another couple of cars if possible or we'll be dropping them off in shifts.

So, this is a small call for a little help from anyone in the mid Sussex area who may be willing to come to the assistance of some damsels in distress.

Their prom is in 3 weeks time, on Tuesday June 24 from 1900 at the Copthorne Hotel near Crawley, and needless to say, they would like to arrive in the cars - not be driven along back roads & farm tracks for 25 miles from Uckfield, more like only the last mile or so from the Duke's Head roundabout to the Copthorne.

I was thinking of maybe going for a short drive & a couple of beers after dropping them off. Happy to have even more cars and head off to the pub afterwards?

If anyone is interested could you please let me know, many thanks.

Tony, you're absolutely right, that's why they only want to arrive, ie. be driven for the last mile or so!

Shame you're away - enjoy the Brummies.
