SKCC Get Together Amberley Museum 7th Sept

Right here goes. The Cafe where we'll meet is the Chalet Cafe - here - Henfield Rd, Horsham, Cowfold, West Sussex RH13 8DU. From there we'll have a leisurely drive along to the Museum....NB/ we really do need to arrive pretty much at the same time at the Museum, so when its time to leave the Cafe - its time to leave!
I suggest aiming to get to the Cafe for 9.30, as we'll loo to get away from there at 10.30.
For 'newbies' or those not so well known in the Club - worth getting there early, then grab/latch onto whoever then rocks up and introduce yourself and have a natter, far easier than arriving last and not knowing the the heck is who!

I had assumed that perhaps we'd have a couple of organised runs to end at the Cafe - from east/west....but there seems to be few from the West - so to keep life simple.....We'll say 9.30 at the Cafe , but if anyone wants to pick this up and arrange a run or two from wherever, that's cool. But please do bear the timing in mind!!
In that respect depending whether Mrs G comes along i'll either go straight to the Chalet or come out for a play beforehand.

Please have cash to pay on entry to the Museum, a fiver per person....payable to them on the gate....postcode for the Museum is BN18 9LT, a route will be done and sent out ahead of the day.
Tin tops are welcomed if your car is off the road, or shout out for a passenger ride?

Right.......
Need a show of hands, cos this only works if there's enough folks interested to support it!
In brief, similar to the Bentley meet that we did year before last......we'll have a couple of start points and a brekkie venue before - where we can all meet and then cruise a few miles to Amberley together.

For those that are interested in open air museum type places, this one has really good reviews and a quick flick through google will tell all.....the main aim however is to have an SKCC Day, where new and old can meet rather than just doing a run out. Wives/kids etc welcomed as are any friends you want to stuff in your pass seats.

Went to Amberley last year on our wedding anniversary, as part of a holiday in the area. My anniversary treat was Paul blagging special access to the train used in the James Bond film A View To A Kill, which was in part filmed there. He knows how to show a girl a good time. Great place though, lots of really varied stuff to see and do. The "Electricity" place is a must for kids of all ages....

I would like to come, and I think Amberley is a great venue, but my daughter is 18 that weekend, so have a good time.
