Ford type 9 gearbox with Quaife gearset

Hi everyone
After a few niggles with the synchro rings, I've decided to buy a brand new built SPC gearbox for the Tiger Super Six.
That means my old Type 9 gearbox with Quaife gearset and long 1st gear will be for sale.
Gearbox has done less than 2000 miles since the Quaife gears were fitted and only 500 miles since last rebuild (replaced all synchro rings).
It works perfectly up the gears but occasionally doesn't like 4th to 3rd. It's easy to drive round, but could mean another synchro - they're £18 new from Ford or Burton.
I genuinely think that this gearbox would suit a Pinto or Zetec engine perhaps with a bit less than my 210bhp but it's been fine up til now (synchro rings aside).
It's Quaife internals are very strong, I think it's semi-helical as it whines a little but not like straight cut.
Not sure of the ratios but long 1st, 1:1 in 4th and 5000 rpm at a true 115mph if that helps.
I'm thinking it's worth £500+ but let me know your thoughts on it.
Gearbox should be coming out in next 2 weeks so no rush. I'll do some photos when it's out.

Just to let you all know, the new gearbox is being fitted on February 2st so my old gearbox will be available from then.
