car and coffee at CKC.

Postby locost220 » Mon Feb 12, 2018 7:03 pm

Adam has invited me via Fb.

Cars and Coffee at Complete Kit Car
Following the success of last year’s Cars and Coffee at Complete Kit Car meeting, we’re once again running the meeting on the Saturday of the Easter weekend. Last year, more than 50 kit car brought their cars along for an informal meeting – and cake!
The idea is simple: enjoy the ride out to our office, and when you get here grab a free tea or coffee, plus cake and biscuits.
We’ll start at 10am and expect to be here until about 2pm.
Find us at Unit 3 Site 4, Alma Park Road, Grantham NG31 9SE.

Bit of a trek though 2 1/2 hrs without a back road retour route,
Rich.

I got the same invite. I’ve said I’m interested. Depends when my car is done.

Mark, are you friends with CKC or Adam? If so suspect you’d get an invite

when you mean friends Neil?
do you mean do i have him round for coffee or a beer? or do you mean in that messed up virtual world where half the planet are supposedly 'friends'?
If the latter then - NO...cos i don't do FB.

My point was a bit tongue in cheek - cos i just don't 'get' this concept of running a business via such a medium.
Its a bit like me throwing a party and not being arsed to ring up my mates...just kind of assuming that word might filter out.

right, mini 'dig' over, off for a frigging strong coffee.

I find that hard to believe - you once had a car that would go for 6 1/2 hours?? (sorry)
