LEGEND 4 15th sept POSTPONED

Postby greenwoo » Thu Mar 22, 2018 10:16 pm

I've lost count are we up to 4 or is it 5?
for the uninitiated....LEGEND was the starting point for a few runs/escapades which were a bit of a challenge for man & machine.
LEGEND ( the orgininal ) was Lands End for breakfast and then home
LEGEND 2 was 'O'Groats
LEGEND 3 was the Arctic Circle
and unless i'm wrong there hasn't been a Legend 4 ...until now.

Been thinking about this for a while.....
Whitby for Fish n Chips and home again same day.
Logistics to be sortedbut likely means claring the D/ford crossing around 5, hitting the main roads til a bit after Cambridge and then a mix of cross country and other roads to the destination.

Plot up, have fish n chips on the wharf/pier, and a coke ( need the sugar )....and hen home again.
its 250ish miles up and similar back (to the crossing).

Thinking August as there's a heap on in May/June/July with various trips.....

any takers??

Funny enough I was recalling the fish and chip run after JD classics only the other day.
