Tony found an amazingly traffic free route from Newlands Corner to the Cotswolds and then through South Wales. Lost count of the hairpins!
Some green laning in true SKCC style, mixed with some mountain roads where I wad able to fully use the (modest) performance of my car. A few drops if rain from time to time but four hoods were down all day mentioning no names........Linda
At Newlands Tony, me, Dave and Robert arrived to realise our cars are all the same colour. A lady walked up and asked if we were the Yellow Car Club
Sorry I can't post pics, but there will be some to follow honest!

By the way, I don't think they see kits often in South Wales. We had people flashing their lights, beeping their horns, waving thumbs up and one kid shouted cool car
At Broughton on the Water, I had a desperate American woman begging to sit in my car for a photo. Fortunately, she kept her clothes on unlike the one tgat sat in Tony's car on an Alps trip

I had forgotten how beautiful the Gower Peninsula is. Driving the coast felt like a mixture of Cornwall and the north coast of Scotland
A really technical section put us behind time, so we all ended up cutting the last part of the route. However, there isn't really a bad road in this part of Wales, so we still drove some crackers
Dave Hall and I kept together, but we lost Tony Robert and Linda when the road became a farmer's track for a few miles! A road closure added to the entertainment
Another dry day, and warmer too. I put sun cream on
Heading to the Dales tomorrow.
