Nick’s Report

Well, when I woke up this morning thought to myself that I must be mad, I was met with a frosted windscreen on the inside , that doesn’t stop team slater, btw what happened to my wing man??? Off I trot to Newlands, rather tricky underfoot has to be said. Graham was already there, followed by mark, Ian last by not least Steve.

After a few donuts in the car park and we were off.

It was the most cautious that I have ever driven the tiger, because I have only just put the bottom end back together, and said car made it to breakfast. If only it wasn’t wet, snowy and frozen all at the same time. Brekie was also one of the highlights of the day

Gjbspark’s Report

” a bit slippy underfoot ” …..

it was indeed….as I said when at Newlands the bottom of the hill was treacherous…

proved when we went back down the hill at the start of the run to find a car in the

ditch another one damaged and several police attending.

still we had a nice tour of some really good roads , to be repeated in better weather

Captain’s Report

late on parade for the captain’s report as been away and now feel rough ( cold not booze)…….

2 interesting things for me….

the heated gear is the mutts nuts – thanks again….I was indeed warm and toasty, coat + gloves worked perfectly.

the other interesting thing was…….my sat nav switching off just as I passed leader Steve to take the helm, when it came back on it decided to start the route again, so we finished the route via a slightly ‘alternative’ route which involved some erm very narrow single track forestry roads. Gotta love those conditions, keeps you on your toes……..
