How come simple plans go wrong/? I’ll tell you – ‘cos people muck them up! So a Group of us decided that we’d have a play in the Kent countryside and Linda decided that she fancied getting involved . We met at the allotted hour and waited and watched as she sailed by, no problem we thought she’ll go round the roundabout and come back – err no! So off we set enjoying the company of: Nigel, Tony, Kev, Bryan, Matt, Neil, Joe….with a bit of telephone tag we managed to get Linda to a second meet point and once we were all together we set off again for Hawkhurst Fisheries, one of my favourite settings for a Cafe.

Dry roads – always a bonus in November gave us the chance to throw our little cars into the sweeping corners that can be found down near Hawkhurst – with the roads around Cripps Corner being some of my local favourites.

Suitably full after a decent brekkie we set off for Brands where the Tigers were finishing their racing season. Well it seems that Linda has a soft spot for her sat nav, she’ll follow it til the ends of the earth – because guess what – she managed to turn a completely different way to the rest of us, no mean feat as she was in the middle of a convoy!

Anyway, as a redeeming feature here’s a couple of  snaps that she took at Brands…
