Another great run this morning guys with a good turn out. Really enjoyed the roads, particularly some of the early sections that snaked amongst walls of sandstone. Could have done without my n/s cycle wing making a bid for freedom, but then it wouldn’t be a Sunday run without something on my car detaching itself or an electrical hiccup. Thanks again to Richard for the bolt that set things straight and to all the guys that stopped to help.

We’re still not free from the early morning damp roads yet which led to some sideways action for me on the way to the meet point and I witnessed Mark taking a rather wide line on one of the bends Fingers crossed for another dry one next weekend.

Well today mustered up the first taste spring, dry (ish) roads and sunshine, tge roads that we had enjoyed throughout the winter suddenly took on a different ‘grippy’ feel and allowed a completely diffeent drive – fantastic, although a few corners and twists still had the odd sting that could catch you out!

The ITN itself was another winner, some cracking patches of tarmac – especially in the first half, a few uneven surfaces but on the whole just miles and miles of smiles

And the view at breakfast  , reminded me of the peaks!

Anyone sitting on the sides, anyone who simply cant understand why we get out of bed so early, you really really dont know what your missing!

Roll on the next one
