Having arrived at grahams a little tired after rising at 0430, and leaving london at 05.20 I was looking forward to a good run out and stayed off the pop last night so i could drive a little quicker today. some real dry patches of road with the odd wet patch which made some corners a little slippy for my liking, that will be the extra psi in the tyres graham put in for me this morning… and the near bald tyres..
funnily enough there was a lot of road kill this morning including MR FOX and after my stint out front Dave asked me if it was me who had killed -him….unfortunately not =would of been a nice addition to the collection below.

I really enjoyed this mornings run, and was great to see some faces not seen for a couple of months and also meet others.
I thought we had started off really bad after 3/4 cars got flashed by that stray camera. .i thought that’s ruined the day but everyone still cracked on and drove hard…
I have learnt today that without my sat-nav in the correct spot my driving speed drops by about 10 mph…it fell off the dash with about 30 miles to go so I must get it secured properly with some bonding this week..
there was one part when me and graham were out front, and I looked in my mirror one second he was there, then the next look he was gone, my heart stopped for a minute because we had gone round a corner at about 60/70 and I thought had come off the road ….I turned round in a safe place and luckily he had just pulled in for a pit stop.. .
had a great morning, great breakfast and a rubbish SLOW drive back into the city…sweating my tits off in the traffic..
look forward to next weeks wacky races in London…
see you all soon.
thanks G for the organising such a good little run out.
Duncan, guess she won’t be driving that soon then? good effort on her for getting up and coming out in the first place!
